Account deletion

Deleting from the app (recommended)

  1. Open the Akar app.
  2. Tap the gear icon at the top right to open Settings.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

If you can't access the app

From the email address linked to your account, send an email to contact@alkan.dev; the link fills in the subject line for you. As required by the KVKK, your request will be completed within 30 days at the latest and you will be informed.

What is deleted, and what is kept?

  • Deleted immediately: Your account information, sign-in records, notification preferences and document inbox.
  • Kept for the legal retention period: Leases, payment records and related documents. Because they are evidence of the legal relationship between landlord and tenant, they are kept for the period set by the applicable legislation and deleted automatically when that period ends.

Subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel your Akar Pro subscription. Cancel the subscription separately in your App Store or Google Play settings.
